Rita Coolidge

2016 will be a year of new projects and milestones for Rita Coolidge. Music icon Rita Coolidge has signed with Harper Collins for an April 2016 book release that will offer readers an intimate and fascinating journey into her personal story of survival as well as her professional emergence as an influential force amid the iconic music and musicians that built the foundation of the 60’s-70’s pop/rock universe in American culture. A new CD will be out this summer on Music Road Records. She is available for her Delta Lady show, symphony work (she has over 20 charts), or her Christmas Show.

Here are some quotes from September 2015 shows:

“Rita's performance was magical, her voice is as rich and full as ever. The audience could not get enough of her. Rita still has it, and delivers.”
—Renee Bodie  Executive Director, Levitt Pavilion - Los Angeles & Pasadena
“With her signature warm, silky voice, great backing band, vast repertoire and deep love of the American songbook, Rita Coolidge delivered a memorable set that left her Calgary Folk Club audience spellbound.”
—Suze Casey, Artistic Director, Calgary Folk Club

Sam Baker—One Man Play:
Broken Fingers

Follow Sam through an adventure of life and death, and how he ended up as one of the most prolific singer-songwriters and artists of our time.
Sam’s tranquility and life were forever changed when the blast of a bomb above his head planted by Peru’s Shining Path Guerrillas went off.

Seeing death changes a person and Broken Fingers explores the rare transition  from life to death and back again as told through Sam’s words, art, music, and vision. Performances can include the play, a concert, art gallery, and motivational speaking.

Three Women
and the Truth

“Three women, three guitars and the words, music, and hard-won wisdom from three lifetimes spent in pursuit of the song.” A trio of accomplished, richly talented, multiple award winning female songwriters, whose songs cut through the murky layers of life's complexities and bring clarity to many of the challenges we all long to make sense of. Writing from their life's experience, these songwriters are skilled in balancing personal tales with classic underpinnings, which hint at the evocative idea that all our lives are full of events and incidents that touch on the mythic and the timeless. Featuring Eliza Gilkyson, Gretchen Peters and Mary Gauthier—booked in conjunction with High Road Touring

We have many World Music/Roots artists who in addition to doing concerts also teach and have developed wonderful educational/outreach programs. Also please inquire with us about Midwest area grants, as some of our clients are part of a program allowing you to access funds to help bring them to your venue. You call us for more information. Thanks for being part of the arts and we wish you a wonderful season!
